My services
I offer counselling for individuals virtually across BC and Saskatchewan; And In person locally in my Vancouver office.
Perhaps something in your life has shifted, become difficult, or simply no longer feels right. Whatever has brought you to seek counselling, I’d be happy to offer a free consultation call. It’s an opportunity for us to connect, discuss what you’re looking for, and see whether I can offer the support you need.
What a session is like
We will build on strengths and identify personal values, which helps reconnect you with inner resources that support change and resilience. I believe there is no perfect way to do this, so we can explore together what is asking for change.
Each day has its variations, and the same is true of therapy sessions. We might explore uncomfortable emotions, challenge perspectives, relax, bring awareness to patterns, laugh, cry, celebrate the wins, and experience felt support.
In my practice I aim to celebrate the uniqueness of each person and to welcome however you show up.
I commonly support and work with:
Anxiety, stress and panic attacks
LGBTQIA+ folks
Neurodivergent folks
Relationships, at home and at work
Existential counselling
Body image and eating habits
Processing difficult past experiences
Personal growth and self-understanding
Decisions making & overthinking
Grief, loss and loneliness
Trauma and Injury
Guilt and fear; building confidence and resilience
Perfectionism and self-criticism

Emotional and physiological regulation
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
-
Weekly to start is common, often people will eventually shift to bi-weekly and gradually less as things settle. It is a conversation rather than a fixed schedule.
-
Currently I offer evening sessions and occasionally offer virtual sessions on the weekend. Availability is listed on the booking page and changes. Ask in the consultation if you need something specific.
-
It depends on what works best for you and how things unfold. Some people come for a specific thing and finish. Others stay longer. We can talk about it directly in the consultation and again as we go.
Meet with me
First of all, finding a good fit and relationship with a counsellor is a part of the process; We are meeting to see if we are a good fit. Booking a consult is a low-pressure way of meeting to see how it feels
After we have a consult and we decide I might not be the right fit, I am still committed to connecting clients to the care they are looking for, pointing you in the right direction; and am happy to refer you to someone in my wide and incredible network of colleagues.
